To the Invisibles.

Dear colleagues, after a few intense months in which you have demonstrated the capacity of hospital engineering and architecture setting up ICUs and hospitals from scratch, installing medical gases, preparing all the necessary equipment, such as respirators and others ... and demonstrating your competence and commitment from invisibility. The moment of visibility has come, and I have the honor, on behalf of the Spanish Association of Hospital Engineering, on behalf of the Organizing Committee and on my own, to present and to invite you to participate in the 38th Seminar of Hospital Engineering, National Congress to be held in Gijón (Principality of Asturias) in October 2021.

I look forward to shaking your hands again, patting your shoulders, giving kisses and hugs, and recognizing the enormous work you have done... This is what we all want to give and receive from colleagues and professionals from the whole healthcare engineering in this country, as well as a well-deserved applause next 27, 28 and 29 October 2021 in Gijón.

This year, under the slogan "Breathe" we will try to learn about the evolutions and changes that the pandemic has left in health centers, and the Scientific Committee will offer a program with the best experiences and projects in the different fields that make our most advanced health infrastructures, prepared, friendly and respectful with the environment.

Gijón and Asturias welcome us with unbeatable facilities. We will enjoy more than 5,000 m2 of commercial exhibition. We will review the latest developments in engineering and architecture showing all its synergy and support to medical and healthcare activity, thus moving towards the future of this field.

In addition, the entire health industry is invited. After this pandemic, in which they have lived up to their maximum activity and their great response capacity, we encourage all to participate in this event with their exhibition stands, their proposals and their innovations and share them with all the professionals in engineering and sanitary architecture.

For the visibility of hospital engineering, see you in Gijon!
